Creel's Achieving Independence Excellence Award goes to: Fidel!

Fidel has successfully participated in Creel's TDSO Program. Fidel has completed his Spring 2017 semester with the distinguished honor of being on the Dean's List. Fidel is set to meet with his academic adviser to determine which classes are needed to complete his educational plan, allowing him to transfer to a four year university, as early as Spring 2018! Fidel was also instrumental in assisting his friend, Juan, with enrollment and use of on-campus resources such as the DSPS. Juan has completed his first semester of college and is enrolled for the Summer. Fidel is pursuing a degree in accounting, and he has taken the Summer off to relax. Mike has been a client of the Tailored Day Program for over three years. At the beginning, the Tailored Day program, Mike was assisted with completing his Associates in Small Business Management. After this, Mike moved onto his passion of advocating for people with disabilities. Mike is the current Vice President on United Cerebral Palsy Board, where he attends events in the community and advocates for others. Mike previously presented a presentation through other agencies and the Sweetwater High School District, in hopes of teaching others about the misconceptions people have about disabilities. Creel Bowling League!

At Creel, we have a wonderful bowling league, our clients meet up every other Friday! The Creel Bowling League provides a safe place where our clients can work on their objectives, such as: Community Integration / Socialization, Self Advocacy , and Safety while out in the community. The Creel Bowling League currently facilitates two locations: Poway and Chula Vista. Clients are able to make friends and have fun! Clients also play board games such as: Monopoly, Scrabble, and Uno.
